Science Olympiad begins at the end of December or the beginning of January. Whoever wants to be a part of this club can come to the initial meeting. From there the sponsor selects 15 students to compete. The rest of the applicants are alternates and shadow the others in the meetings. To practice for the initial competition in February, every other Thursday there are meetings. Additional practice is made with your partner for the competition for building events. In the past, Dow High has gone to States after Regionals. This club is for those who want to enrich themselves with science.
